I am here - and alive...
Gosh, how long has it been since I have blogged?
I am just trying to get a schedule down - and get back to my blogging.
Much has been going on - I have many stories to tell...
Stay tuned Pampered Queer fans!
Jim will be back!
Much love,
Jim
I Heart Wii
Yep - it's official, I heart my Wii.
We just got Wii Fit and let me tell you - I fucking love it.
I just "worked out" for about 30 minutes and I feel energized and terrific!
The games are fun and it even comes with a personal trainer!
The downside is that I am obese - like I didn't know that...
but the upside is that now I can work out in my own home and I love it.
The tricky part is keeping the damn dogs off the Wii Balance Board!
I think Parker wants to work out with me.
So here is the real litmus test - immediately after I was finished, I looked over at my case of Diet Pepsi (cherry flavored) and I didn't even grab one!
I went to the fridge and made myself a crisp, cold glass of water.
Wow. That even impresses me.
Now don't think I am going to be one of those narcissistic queens that is going to post what I eat, how much I work out, and all that fucking nonsense, but when I reach certain goals, I will post them here - just to keep me motivated.
So go me - I had my frst Wii workout and I give it a four stars out of four.
Now I just need to get down to the tub of lard level...
Much love,
Jim
Am I maturing?
So today was kind of a crap day.
When I got to the shop, I turned on the lights and they immediately went out.
But I had the radio on, and the computer on, and there was electricity coming out of the wall outlets.
So I checked next door on the groovy record store and they had plenty of light action.
So I figured something blew in my suite.
Did I panic?
Did I cry and stomp?
Did I blame my bad luck everyone else to make myself feel better?
Nope. I just called my landlord and asked them to fix it.
Then I just went on about my day - in the natural sunlight.
The Jim I knew several years ago would have been in hysterics and crying like a baby.
But today I surprised myself by staying calm, cool, and collected.
Which made me think - at 38, am I FINALLY growing up into a man?
Probably not, this may have been an isolated action of maturity.
Stayed tuned.
Much love,
Jim
Things...
"I got soul, but I'm not a soldier."
"I got soul, but I'm not a soldier."
"I got soul, but I'm not a soldier."
"I got soul, but I'm not a soldier."
"I got soul, but I'm not a soldier."
"I got soul, but I'm not a soldier."
"I got soul, but I'm not a soldier."
"I got soul, but I'm not a soldier."
"I got soul, but I'm not a soldier."
"I got soul, but I'm not a soldier."
This is the line of the Killer's song, "All These Things That I've Done" that Justin Timberlake sings in the movie, "Southland Tales."
It is really fun to sing this line - I do it all of the time.
The movie was on some serious crack with the Rock posing as some sort of politically connected movie star and Sarah Michelle Gellar playing a porn star.
It was just an odd movie, but I like the line that JT sings and if you stop by the shop, you will prolly hear me muttering it.
Iron Man SUCKED!
In other news, we have a new addition the the family.
We got it this weekend - kind of on a whim.
We went to JBucks to have dinner and then decided to stop by the Mac store.
I am glad we did.
This is what we went home with.
Yeah, that right, we went home with the new iMac with is sleek frame and ginormus monitor.
And to be frank, it rocks.
Porn has never looked so good.
Moving on to one last item.
I cannot wait until May 30th.
Why?
Because that is the day that the Sex & The City movie drops and I am super stoked.
I love Carrie and Co. and cannot wait to see them on the big screen.
It is going to be fierce!
So until then kiddos, keep it real.
And special note to Jen - get you ass home as soon as you can. We miss you.
Much love,
Jim
Woot.
Yup, we're fucked
Can Jason Isringhausen please just shut the fuck up and go away please?
He is washed up and of no use to us anymore.
Fire him Tony and get a real closer.
I am having a hard time rooting for the Cardinals when the rest of the team does their best and then this fuckwad comes in and gives up a bunch a runs.
We are totally fucked if we don't get rid of this schmuck.
Much love,
Jim
Back for more
After a brief hiatus, I am back - for now.
So Rolling Stone is dead to me.
Dead as a doornail.
I am never going to renew my subscription.
Never.
Why you ask?
Because I am sick and tired of them shoving Barack O'Bama down my throat.
The last few editions have had several pro O'Bama and many more negative Clinton articles.
This shit has got to stop.
I have umpteen "news" sources telling me who to vote for - I don't need Rolling Stone to tell me what to do.
Stick to stories about the new Guns 'N' Roses CD (yeah right) and why Fergie sucks. Leave the political stories to the professionals.
That's right, what I am really pissed about is not that they are backing O'Bama, but how poorly the stories are written and how they are overly biased. No facts to stand on, no sources that want to be named - all pure opinion. And I am fine with opinion, just don't try to pass of opinion as fact. That shit makes my panties wad up in a ball.
Now keep in mind, I am a total Clinton supporter and I will be till the day I die, but if for some reason O'Bama gets the nomination, I will vote for him - albeit through clenched teeth. I just cannot and will not vote for McCain.
More on why I detest O'Bama in later posts, but for now Rolling Stone has lost my business - forever.
Besides, Playback:stl is far better in each and every way.
Much love,
Jim

More Random Thoughts
I love random thought theatre. Perhaps I should go back over time and see if any of them make sense.
*God I love, love, love Guitar Hero 3. I am totally addicted.
*I started watching Transamerican Love Story on Logo. It is about a tragic transsexual who is looking for love. The show is ridiculous and proves that I will watch ANYTHING. The host of the show, Alec Mapa, looks like a troll doll with a stick shoved up his ass.
*White Castles at midnight is NEVER a good idea.
*I think I want to watch Hedwig & The Angry Inch again.
*Speaking of musicals, I need to find my copy of Gypsy. I was singing "Some People" the whole time I was loading my kilns today.

Well kids, I have a business to run, so ta ta for now!
